Paul Holcomb from The Bold Headed Broadcast mixed this techno version of Ted Stevens' now infamous "Series Of Tubes" speech and Gavin (that is me) from 13tongimp.com made a video out of it.

Cat Stevens the performer is what this video is about. The deal with Islam and such has nothing to do with this. No religious beliefs are perfect, you must use your own mind and creativity. Religion is a guidance not a law in which to punish and hate. Rock on my brothers and sistas from around the world...

So we all like Soofyan... but... the Carleton Singing Knights covered it a cappella. That's so totally sweet. I'm posting a couple of videos I took at their spring concert. Good times. Tom Fry sings lead on this. He is adorable.

Another quite rare one from Shakin' Stevens back in 1983. The song was written by Bob Heatlie, who also wrote one of the last good Shaky singles, "Breaking Up My Heart". Bob's biggest success was writing "Japanese Boy" for Aneka by the way.
