This is some footage of our hike into Mt. Ptolemy just south of Coleman, AB in the Crowsnest pass. At the end of the hike in, we tracked down the crash site of a RCAF Dakota that crashed on January 19, 1946 killing all 7 people on board.
Larock, Jody and a few of his co-workers and their significant-others, and I participated in the 2008 Underwear Affair Walk/Run to raise money for below-the-waist-canc ers research.
As part of the 2007 Waterkeepers Invitational at Sunshine Village, Banff, AB, Christie Brinkley X-country-skied around the track in the "Biathlon" where the "shooting" was actually shooting a basketball. I believe Christie's shooting partner was Ben Browder of Farscape / Stargate fame.
2007 WHL Playoffs - Kootenay @ Calgary - Game 6 - series is 3-2 for Calgary. Figs ties up the game 3-3! Unfortunately, Kootenay won this game 4-3, but it sure made for an awesome nailbiter of a game!

While touring around the west end of P.E.I. we stopped in at MacAusland's Woollen mill where Jody & I each bought a blanket (they're sooooo warm). What an amazing factory....full of history and character. Then we went onto West Point Lighthouse for the sunset.
