We put up our big tent for a church in North Georgia and we did a mini concert that Sunday morning. We wanted to do something a little interesting for these folks, so we did this using a little Cajun music influence to an old church hymn. I think it worked out ok!!!!!
This is my first attempt at building this and cooking in it. I put just a little too much charcoal from the start and scorched some wood. But tomorrow I'll put in some more flashing and a little less charcoal. This Pork Butt Roast sure smells fine here in the driveway.
We were camping in Dial Ga on the Toccoa River, doing a little evening pickin. We had most everyone in the campground come down and visit with us. Some sang, some dance and most of all enjoyed the food.
Tristan really likes this Blue Highway song, so we thought we'd give it a try at the Blairsville Ga Sorghum Festival this past Sunday. Ok I did blow one chord, but hey it still sounded ok for a first time.
We have Danny Crochet and part of the Bayou Ramblers from New Iberia, Louisiana up here to N Ga this week to eat some BBQ, Gumbo and play some cajun and bluegrass. As you can see we are not going hungry.
Dutch oven pork chops cooking over vidialia onion, garlic, celery, bell pepper in a 20 qt dutch oven. Pork Chops were marinated in bbq sauce, cayenne pepper sauce, vinegar, white wine worchester, corn oil, Tony Chacheres and onion salt all of which was rubbed into the meat prior to cooking.
This was shot in December 2007 at Mauk, Ga Little sawdust covered floor church out in the middle of nowhere. County Rd 45 Tabernacle is the name of the place and it is one of the best places for the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit. These folks are so hungry for the Word of God and so receptive to the operation of the Holy Spirit. Great place to preach, sing and worship.
