Maarij Kirmani a well known socialite in the New England Area fo the past thirty years, wrote this peom on Mother's Day while on an overseas assigment and sent it to his wife, Homaira Kirmani and his daughter, Samia,aa new-to-be mother. He read this poetry to a thrilled audience at a recent dinner hosted at his residence in lexington, MA.
