Today, February 7th, 2007 the temp was -6 degrees when we left the dock. It warmed up to a huge 12 degrees by mid day but the wind chill was still sub-zero. Lobster girl Ginny was sterning (I'd like to see Britney Spears or Madonna do that)Chuck was the Captain and Donnie Freeman was the Camera guy while taking a break from swinging the traps.
4 Brunswick PD cruisers and 2 Topsham cruisers parked at the Regal cinemas in Brunswick, Cooks corner. There was 1 officer standing outside with what appeared to be a sniper rifle. Still waiting to find out what happened. Will know when the news comes on.
We were in an ex-navy Torpedo wepons recovery ship on our way to Haiti to do some research. This was taken in the windward passage in 2005. Shortly after this clip the towline parted.
Noreaster on Bailey Island Maine april 16 2007. Standing on the back side of driftwood porch. The waves were recorded at 31.5 feet before loosing the weather buoy. During this film the Driftwood sign flew off the roof over my head and disappeared in the sea foam.
we were off shore hauling lobster traps when we saw something on the horizon. It was the high speed Ferry "THE CAT". What a sight it is in the open ocean.
