About 18 years ago, on my way to fish salmon in the Margaree River, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I saw this blue Lobster in a store near the Canso Causeway. The fellow was quite nice to take it out of the tank for me. Great Nova Scotian hospitality. Blue lobsters are quite rare (about 1 in several million). It was priced at $1000.00. I left without it!
This is the rarest species of duck. It is the "brown-billed duckwhirler". It is extremely rare to catch one on video when they do their whirlpool dive. They only whirl if a Mallard Drake Duck is nearby. No one knows why.
They whirl around at an incredible speed (80,000 rpm) and pop to the surface, near the Mallard Drake, with a flap of their wings.
