Val Doonican Show.
Tough originally produced in colour 625 lines, this video tape was recorded from the 405 line network. Probably the only surviving pictures from that particular show. Date of transmission unknown. Starring Des Lane and others... Enjoy this time capsule. Recorded with a Sony CV2000B video tape recorder.
Another episode of Sunday Night at the London Palladium. Starring Patricia Cahill and Clif Richard. See also part 2 and find out that the episode was very special...
Recorded at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin 1969. This is unique material recorded by a amateur camera and a Sony CV2000B VTR in 405 lines.
This is the oldest home video that I have ever seen.
This was recorded from the 625 line service with a 405 line camera on a CV2000B reel of videotape. Early colour TV's had no video output so the only way to record the picture was pointing a camera to the tube. I had, to recover the 405 line signal, do the same with a 625 line camera now. Very complicated isn't it?
This footage are family films from the 1930's. They are from a certain Mr. C. Head. I would like to find the family of Mr. Head to send them a copy of the films. Who can help? They probably lived in London.
This recording was made in Brussels Belgium around 1910. Dutch recordings from that era are very rare. They are starting at the centre and have to be played at 90 to 100 rpm. They use the hills and dales recording technique.
