A Tribute to my Grandfathers and the Men and Women of the Canadian Forces, produced with the assistance of StonewallStudios. A special thank you to Tom at StonewallStudios for his patience and guidance, and to Pierre for permission to use his ramp ceremony photographs. Lest We Forget.
Long before "Dancing With The Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance", these ladies and gentlemen were entertaining live audiences. These beautiful vintage photos and postcards date from 1906. Some of these dancers would have entertained WWI troops in the theatres of England, France and Germany. They certainly compliment the timeless "Dance With Me" by Orleans.
The world would be a much better place if we remembered how to view it with the wonder and innocence of a child with a pet.
The instrumental introduction is a clip from the John Dunbar Theme from the movie Dances With Wolves. Thanks again to TeeJay and Stonewall Studios for the opportunity to co-produce such wonderful vistories.
Mother Nature must have used almost every ounce of blue on our skies and seas. So very few creatures can be called "true blue", that I had to make my "Elusive Butterfly of Love" the beautiful Morpho Peleides, more commonly known as the "Blue Morpho". It is joined by a few other spectacular species in this 1966 hit by Bob Lind.
"Breathe" by France's Telepopmusik is probably very familiar to anyone who watches commercials as it was used by Mitsubishi. The song has always had a way of making me sit back, relax, and -- breathe, something we all need to be reminded to do from time to time. So I hope you sit back, relax, and see something in this video that reminds you to just "Breathe".
I am! But, with all the hours we spend behind the keyboard and monitor, it's time to get up and do some form of "7th inning stretch"!! :) Here are some ideas.
This video celebrates that special bond between a mother and a child, regardless of species. The song is from Disney's Dumbo, and this version is performed by Bette Midler.
What happens to Geri Halliwell's "men" when the temperature drops? They turn into Snowmen, of course!! Happy Holidays everyone! Get out there and build some gorgeous men -- weather permitting! :)
