Photos I have taken over the years accompanied by "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. All photos were taken by me and with my Kodak CX7525 or Canon Digital Rebel XT.
We were actually hit by this or a previous tornado en route on US RT 34, eastbound toward Galesburg, IL. Video and digital stills confirm a narrow condensation funnel on the ground, one with a debris shroud. Called the report in to 911, which was meant to be relayed to NWS, but the report never showed.
2006 was my first year of chasing, and what a year it was . Saw my first ever tornado and drove approximately 1,500 miles with absolutely nothing but our eyes to the sky. Leave negative comments at the door please.
This is my first crack at this. I know it could have been done much better, but this was just for experiment. All photos taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XT
To most viewers, this house may not look like much. But, to our family, it has been a home for over 25 years. It had drafty windows, creaky floors, some even sagging, but it kept a nice, solid roof over our heads. Thanks for the memories.
Weak tornado touchdown about 1/4 mile away. It would eventually chase us down the gravel back road...although it wouldn't have really done anything to us.
Unreported tornado touching ground in Delavan, IL. This was our very first tornado, hence the screaming and yelling. This is NOTHING compared to what is out there, but it was our first. If you have a negative comment to leave, get out there and get your own god damn video if you don't like it. I HATE people who come here just to leave negative shit. Get a life.
