this is a very old show called Se' Ceap Breatainn Tir Mo Graidh which was prodiced by scottish television about Gaelic in Cape Breton. It is the only footage I've ever seen of Joe Neil MacNeil and other old timers. This segment features Maxie MacNeil and his daughters as well as a Gaelic mass in Glendale. Its a rough copy.
This is a piece on Cape Breton fiddler Mike MacDougall. It appears to have been done shortly after his death. It has Alistair MacGillivray and Sheldon MacInnes discussing Mike and his music. It also features an outake from Ryan's Fancy TV show.
This is some footage I shot during a recent trip to Cape Breton. It has photos in the middle of some well known Cape Breton musicians taken during a 1993 trip to Cork, Ireland.
The music is Scottish guitarist Tony McManus. Buy his CD's @ www.tonymcmanus.com

I recorded this at West Mabou Dance. It was the night Ashley was playing at Glencoe and anyone who went to Ashley missed a heck of a dance. They started slow but it picks up near the end. Great dance and the last time I saw the MacLellan Trio.
My friend Murry Gallant is a retired Coal Miner who lives in New Waterford, Cape Breton and is a woodcarver and all around great guy. He is a fiddle player and composer as well. This a piece the local news did on him a few years back.
